Pete Peterson's quest for baseball's Hall of Fame ended when he could hit neither the fast ball or the curve, so he decided to take up something easy - writing advertising and marketing pieces for Forbes 500 firms, and 'Mom and Pop' enterprises that line Main Street America or the business park just down the street.
His fiction has appeared in publications as varied as: "The Hunter's Horn", "Leatherneck", "Dead Mule School of Southern Literature," and "Stoneslide Collective." Pete's nonfiction has graced the pages of "The Kansas City Star," "The Coast News,", "Rancho Santa Fe Journal," as well as "Tell Us A Story," "The Raven's Nest," and the "Charles Carter- a Working Anthology," plus many newsletters and sales journals. Pete was a short list finalist in the William Faulkner/William Wisdom Foundation, "Words and Music" Writer's Competition three years running.
Pete enjoys regular Spin Classes and gym visits with his wife Nancy, They also travel extensively. Pete facilitates the Escondido Writer's Group at his local library.
